A Legacy of Compassion
Meals on Wheels began in an alley behind the Church of the Good Shepherd, with a door painted red to help people find it. If you were looking for it, people would say to go “down the alley to the red door.”In the late 1960s, Addye Clements prepared meals for seniors as they gathered at the Red Door for fellowship.
