Volunteer

One Hour. One Day. A Lifeline for a Neighbor.

Every weekday, over 55 volunteers hit the road across 55 routes to bring meals—and so much more—to more than 750 clients throughout Wichita County.

And we have a spot for YOU.

Volunteering with Meals on Wheels Wichita County is simple, impactful, and deeply rewarding. Most routes take less than an hour, just one day a week, and the difference you make lasts far longer.

When you knock on a door, you’re not just delivering a meal—you’re delivering connection, compassion, and peace of mind.

Our volunteers are often the only daily human contact our clients have. You become a friendly face, a wellness check, and a trusted lifeline. If someone doesn’t answer the door, we follow up immediately. Your presence ensures someone is watching out for their well-being.

Whether you're an individual, part of a church, business, or civic group—we'd love to have you on the team.
