A full year of meals through Meals on Wheels costs about $2,750 — about the same as one night in a hospital or 8–10 days in a nursing home.
One of the most common reasons aging adults are moved into long-term care or readmitted to the hospital is malnutrition. Your support helps prevent that. With every meal delivered, you're helping someone stay healthy and independent in their own home — right here in Wichita County.
What Your Gift Can Provide:
- 1 full year of meals (365 days) = $2,750
- 1 month of meals (31 days) = $235
- 2 weeks of meals (14 days) = $105
- 1 week of meals (7 days) = $53
